bloats like a balloon....

Postby Michelle-leeC1989 » Mon Jan 14, 2013 9:20 pm

During the course of the day does anyone get massively bloated and get really bad stomach cramps? If you have what did you do to ease the pain and bloat? And what causes this?

Sounds like wind to me. What's your diet like? Are you eating too much beans or apples?

I don't really know what would cause that. Maybe salt intake? When I began to watch my water intake (I drink at least 2 litres of water a day now), it also stopped me from being "puffy". Are you drinking enough water?

See your GP. There are some serious (but thankfully rare) medical conditions exclusive to women for which unexplained bloating and cramps are the initial symptoms.

Hi, it could be as simple as wind caused by the types of food you are eating. I find I have the same symptoms when i eat starchy food at lunchtime and then sit at my desk for hours. I guess when I'm walking around the wind dissapates very slowly!

try not eating starchy food and see what happens.
