thanks so much Kim

I still can't believe I'm going to do this. And I probably will be the one that you hire of in the news ' lady catches taxi half way' HAA HAA..... But the good thing is I'm doing it with a friend... for the extra support and encouragement. We are going to start 'training' today for the run... hmmmmmmmmmm... WATCH THIS SPACE.

But feel so excited at the same time.

Better this than the headline "Lady Rushed to Hospital from Fun Run"!

If things get really bad...get your friend to piggyback you...that's what friends are for right?

Train sensibly and you will be ok. The confidence of this fun run under your belt will go a long way in motivating you to reach your end goal.
Go for it! :D

Wobbles, how fantastic ..... we are a big advocate for fun runs on this site hence we list them in all states each month.
Even if you cant run most have a walking component so there really is no excuse not to participate at least once a year. Commiting to one is a great way to start your exercise plan.
Proud of you and let us know how the training goes.

Come on everyone plan a fun run for spring.... no excuse.

I did the Sydney City To Surf a few years ago. The page shows several in the Newcastle/Lake Macquarie area. *sigh* There's no excuse now.
