We Know...

The other day I was invited to speak to a small group about weight loss.
Many interesting topics and stories came up particularly during the question and answer time.

One woman shared her story about struggle with weight.
She had lost about 40 kilos and kept it off for three years ago and then had put it all back on.
She complained that she was eating and exercising the same amount but her body had just suddenly started to put weight on.
What was interesting is what she said next.
Before I was able to explore with her why this woman who couldn't understand how this happened then gave the reason!
"I retired from work and moving a lot less than I used to".

It wasn't just her either.
Time and time in our discussion the people would be able to pin point their problem and often the solution.
This led me to reflect that deep down we know what we should do.
It seems that its the application that is the problem.
Where the rubber meets the road...and the lifestyle meets real life.

Lost: 87kg
Now: keeping it off for life!
