Whats your goal?

Postby yummymummy » Thu Jan 04, 2007 7:44 am

Most of us have that magic figure that we are working towards as our goal weight but was is you goal dress size where do yo think you will be most comfortable?
I want to be a standard size 10 which is probably 3/4 kilos off

I'm fairly tall at 5 foot 9 and have never known what it felt like to be at a healthy weight since I was a kid so I really don't know what sort of dress size I might get to. I have a friend who's the same height as me and healthy weight. She's a size 14 I think. But I lost weight once before and got down to about 90kg (still 25kg off goal) and I was wearing size 12 on top and size 16 on bottom. I'm a very unfortunate pear - my mother was always very kind to point out that she's never seen anyone shaped like me before - thanks mum, I feel so special! So I think a dress size goal won't work for me. I don't mind though - it'll be a pleasant surprise when I get there!

My goal was to be able to fit into my existing wardrobe (mainly size 8, some 10, depending on the shop they came from!!) comfortably.... meaning I can sit here at my desk for an entire day and not feel like I'm being strangled by my clothes  And, to not finish the day with red marks all over my body from where my clothes are too tight. Ouch :(

I've only ever been around a size 14 up top. I'd really like to be a size 10-12. Because I'm big chested I'm realistic LOL so the smallest I'd be up top is a size 12 I reckon.

I earlier last year I was around 73kg and I was a size 12 bottom and size 14 top. All my size 12s don't fit now so really - I'd just love to get back into my size 12s! But I won't give up my dream of fitting into a size 10 bottom some day :D

Hmmm I'm not sure really... I want to lose another 8kg and I'm a size 12 now. I'd love to get down to a 10, but I'm not sure what size I'll be at when I get down to 60kg, I might even possibly be able to squeeze into an 8. But I'd definitely be happy as a 10!!

When I was at 58 - 60kgs, 5 - 6 years ago I was a 12 top......same old large chest thing happening there!!!......and a 10 bottom. Some 10's fit nicely others were tight and some were too large. It depends on the brand of the clothes I think. So if I could get to that sizing again it would be great. I bought a size 12 bottom and a size 14 top when I bought some clothes about 2 months back. The bottoms are snug tho, not totally uncomfortable but I would love to have a bit more room in them. Prior to that I had been buying size 14 bottoms and size 16 tops for the comfort factor.

Keep Smiling!!!

Seeing as I've never been thin in my entire life, my ultimate goal would be to experience being a size 10. I doubt my upper body would ever fit into a 10, due to my "apple shape" & big chest.. but a girl can dream.

My goal???

As stated on my tracker....DOUBLE DIGITS (on the scales) and I'd say single ones on the clothes hangers but that's not very realistic, so I'll just stick to anything in the teens 14,16 or 18 (for now)
