Good songs to shake my (hopefully shrinking) booty to?

Postby Elmo's Shoelace » Fri Jan 05, 2007 8:40 pm

Hi Guys,
I'm very new to the forum but I wanted to ask everyone if they can suggest any really upbeat, fun songs that I might use to dance around to in my living room when I need some more motivation? Any songs would be great, I already have a few, but, of course, when I go to download songs or buy CDs my mind goes blank! I just thought it would be a good way to pump myself up while doing housework, going for walks, etc... Thanks everyone!

I am not racist, but anything that black women sing, shaking thier 'booties' is excellent. What was that great song that I think Destiny Child sang - that is fantastic!! They were on Oprah once and they got Oprah to do the bum shake thing!

I also find myself dancing to the Wiggles and Hi-5 is quite entertaining and great for the waist line - and my 2 year old loves it!

Ooooo this is a great one!! I need my music to workout, thank you for the ideas!!

I love Pump It by Black Eyed Peas, Bob Sinclair's latest one Rock this Party and also Lift by Shannon Noll coz I think I'm on the Biggest loser when I work out :P I like Tarzan Boy by Bango too. A good friend of mine suggests what I should listen to while working out and she never sends me wrong! :D

I'll go and look up that other thread now...

Yep Pinkie I listen to those ones as well. And scissor sisters I dont feel like dancing, plus gold digger and the 2 by fergie' london bridge and fergilicious. Tho I use it for walking/running with so not sure if those choices would be the same for dancing to. I also have a few chilli pepper songs as well. And SOS by rhianna is great. Always seems to come on just when I am getting to the damn hill that I hate! Which is great cos I need the extra enthusiasm to keep the fast pace up the hill!

Keep Smiling!!!
