Hope your boy is ok Ally. It is awful when your kids are sick.

Wow, and saying 'No' to Wendy's! You champion!

I have promised my daughter that I would take her on a special 'mummy and daughter' milkshake and walk on Sunday.

Can I eat one of those low fat ones they have? Or do I have to go cold turkey as well?????

Does anyone know how bad they actually are??

Hi Tiffany,
One regular chocollo milkshake is 235cal and 3.4g of fat. A non dairy regular smoothy is 353 cal and 0g of fat. And a regular dairy smoothy is approx(different for other flavous but this is the banana one) 441cal and 6.9 g fat. Being me I would go the non dairy as it doesn't have the fat. Calories isn't a problem so much for me because I do the exercise but my fat count is way too high. Last time I did go to Wendy's(about 3 or 4 months ago) that was what I had and it was beautiful! I really enjoyed it. So go either the chocollo milkshake or the non dairy smoothy. Hope this has helped Tiff.

Hey Groovychic - you ARE the Calorie QUEEN!
Thanks loads, I will go the no fat way mate, as my accidental weight loss and the combined stress I have at the moment should work off the calories!!!

Thanks :D

Hi Tiff...nah you don't have to go cold turkey mate!! I actually didn't feel like having anything...to be honest all the ice cream on display used to make me drool and I would always order a double cone or a thickshake, but it just all looked like coloured gloop to me the other day!!!

Thanks for the info on those shakes Rochelle!! I don't mind the chocollo shake, actually they are quite nice!! I didn't realise they were so good on the calories and fat!! When I went hunting for a pamphlet on their products, they had run out and I just haven't thought to go and get another one!

Hey Rochelle, thanks for asking/......I have posted about it in the PP section....but here is the short version!! LOL

Chris appears to not have GF, but just a bad dose of tonsilitis...the doc said that if he improved with the antibiotics then not to take him and he improved....so I can only assume the glands were up due to tonsiltis...which we are very greatful for!!!!

Ally, I hope your boy is doing better!!!
And gotta say congrats on resisting the temptation...
Im still trying to stop myself from having full cream milk in my coffee (I have 1 for morning tea at work) but I just can't stand the look of the coffee with skim milk!!

Hey can't I have a craving for something good for me like carrot sticks??

Glad too hear your son is ok Ally and doesn't have GF (the kissing desease  )

My son got if about 10 years ago, you don't completely get rid of it and it can come back again.
