first weigh-in

Postby Aquagirl » Fri Jan 19, 2007 1:06 pm

Hi all,

I had my first weigh-in today on my tony ferguson diet. I have lost 1.6kilos :D The first few days were tough, but its getting easier. It makes me stop and think about what I am putting in my mouth. The best thing is I have a toddler (18months old, an angel.....NOT!) and she exhausts me. So the sachets are really easy for me during the day, I don't have to think about what to have for lunch thats healthy. My partner has also been really encouraging, which came as a complete suprise cause he hasn't been so supportive in the past.

OMG, I sound like an ad..... I should get paid for this babble.

Anyway, I have dinner tonight with my friends at an Italian Restaurant (carb central), have designated myself as driver. I hope I can find something on the menu I can eat without going too over the top.

Well done Aquagirl. I have been doing a shake type thing too this week and you're right, once you get past the first few days it gets easier.

Try and entree tomato based pasta and a salad or something, you'll be fine!

Well done Aquagirl! Glad to hear that TF is working well for you :D Good luck at dinner tonight... Italian must be the hardest to find low-carb food. If you're not vegetarian like me, they might have a meat based dish that doesn't include pasta, or like Kate said, a nice salad. Enjoy :D

You should look into it nikki, its really good for busy mums like us. I have a shake for breaky and lunch then a meal with my partner and bub at night.

Thanks all for your comments and all.
