I am sooo very hungry today to the point my stomach is rumbling and Im begining to become obsessive about food Ive had weetbix for breaky and a huge salad tuna and some rivitas for lunch an apple for a snack and I just keep gravitating to the fridge for something to eat,
I dont thinks its TTOTM yet

Hi Jody, is the weather overcast or rainy where you are?? I know that it gets me like that!!! Maybe try for some homemade vege soup when you have really hungry days......it sounds like you have eaten really well today, so it could be just "one of those days".....try the soupl though, it does work!!

Yeah they are great for weather like this simmy...we actually have rain here today....not sweating buckets, but now I am peeing in them!!! LOL :P

home made vege soup is great too...you dont have to process teh whole lot until smooth, leave some chunky bits in it to chew!! I just throw any veges (except potato and sweet potato) and a big tin of crushed tomatoes and vege stock...boil it up and then process half in a blender!! Yummo!!

What a speedy reply! :) I went off tomato/vegie soup for ages because of the 'soup diet'. Anyone remember that? For about a yr afterwards the smell of it, or thinking about the smell made me feel sick! I did lose 3kg though (I don't think it was wroth it though). I think I might give it a go again - thanks Ally!

Jody I too get that on some days just get hungrier than other days for some reason. I don't see the point in ever being hungry except when you wake up as you haven't eaten for the whole night. If you are hungry eat something just try to make it a healthy choice and you shouldn't do much damage to your plan. Provided you are truly hungry and not just thirsty or something is triggering you to eat. I find now I know the difference between that and when I get the rumblings. I think about my intake and I usually try to have some water first to see if I am missing out there....thirst can mask itself as hunger.

I sometimes find if i can control my intake on those really really hungry days I have a big loss the next day as my body burns up fat to fill the need, its hard because all you want to do is eat eat eat, but the scales look good the next day for sure(for me anyway), hope this is the case Jody :D :D :D

Well I ended up going to bed even hungrier last night I just couldnt shake the hunger pangs all day, I survived a function at work that had tonnes of yummy food on display because I was tied up having pics taken with some work mates for a nursing magizine and by the time i was finished most of the food was gobbled up(Thank goodness)
I was a big time snacker b4 I began to lose weight and that was the main cause of my excess weight so snacking is a big no no for me because I cant stop at a small amount of food & once I start I cant stop :? so I avoid it at all costs & it makes weight control much easier for me
thanks for your support guys!!

Hi Jody! Do you know that sometimes when you have "hungrier than normal" days it could mean that your metabolism is on the rise? Which is a good thing of course. :D :D I get those days too and its usually if i've been training hard with weights in the days before. If you can deal with it then that's good but like the others said be careful its not thirst. If I get those feelings during the day and its really bad, I will have something extra but definately not at night - try to distract yourself. I heard somewhere that you should go to bed just a little bit hungry (not ravenous) not only is it good for weight loss but it gives your digestive system a bit of a break during the night too.
Liz :) :)

Hi liz -that would make sense because I just got into exercising every day so hopefully my metabolism is on the rise!! Ive always been so sporadic in my exercise prior to this
