I survived!

Postby Lala » Tue Feb 06, 2007 3:04 pm

Last night i was on the way to a family get together and my mum got me to hold the birthday cake in the car on the way there..... It had lollies all over it (red ones... my fav!), licorice and those little tim tam balls. I am happy to report i didn't give into temptation! I stuck to what i had taken to eat and didn't even look at the desserts.
I'm very proud of myself! :D

well done! it's pretty awesome when you can look back at a situation where you would have normally handled it in a totally different way. I know in my case, I would have eaten the cake and not even THOUGHT about it, just down the hatchet.

But even today, I would have at least snuck a few sneaky lollies off the top! :D

That is too close to temptation for me. If you mother had been driving with me holding the cake and stopped suddenly, I am sure my head would have landed on the cake (mouth open of course)..

Congrats on your success
Every day I am getting thinner and thinner.....

Well done Lala. I am very impressed. Don't think I could have showed such restraint.
Cheers, Mary

If I could find a ticker for measurements it would say I'm on the way from a waist measurement of 134cm to one of 70cm (currently at 129cm)
