Not happening this week

Postby milo » Wed Feb 07, 2007 1:08 pm

Ok so I have admitted to myself, I should not have started fresh this week. I have a huge week. 2 parties, 4 birthday and 2 huge night out. Now my wisdom teeth are infected so i think it would be smart for me mentally to start fresh next week dont you think?

I agree with Kate - you need to be up to it as well - my husband has just has his wisdom teeth out and he was in such pain - and his got infected - so it is not nice - he felt horrible. Hope your teeth get better soon

This reminds me of the time I gave up smoking about 5 years ago.

I was going to hide out for about 2 weeks at home and avoid social gatherings (always hard to be around smokers when you're trying to quit or have quit), but it was a good friend's birthday and I went out anyway.

I got through that first night, at a pub, drinking a few pots of beer, without smoking - and from there, it was an absolute breeze! That was the hardest night.

However - looks like you've got a REALLY busy schedule this week... but if you can get through this week, you can get through anything.

(PS in regards to the infected wisdom teech - Savacol is a great antiseptic mouth wash and not too expensive - you can get it at any chemist or supermarket -- look out for it near the Listerine)
Just keep moving! And don't be lazy...

Yeah, tackling one thing can be hard enough, let alone what you've got planned -- all the best for next week.
