I gave my kids Chicken Treat for dinner tonight and I said NO to their left over chips, even though they smelt devine and I really wanted to eat them ..... don't think Jenny Craig would have liked that hey.
funny how old habits die hard. Today I was going to the petrol station for fuel so I could go out of town and pick up my daughter. The traffic was heavy so I went out onto the highway and turned the corner near Maccas and then realised I had my blinker on to go in their driveway - just in time cause man was I hungry at the time - diverted myself, got fuel and a bottle of water instead
Said "no" to raisin toast with butter for breakfast, had my cereal and banana instead. Also said "no" to the kids, on many occassions but they keep coming back.
Lolly driving into somewhere out of habit is genetic. Remember the 5 mile when we were kids?

I was so proud of myself yesterday I went with my workteam to the pub for lunch. I thought really long and hard about my choices and ended up with a steak sandwich ( as the steak on the menu was very expensive but the steak sandwich was not)
As soon as it arrived I took off the top layer of bread and all the chips and put them on a separate plate.
All I ate was the steak, salad and 1 slice of bread, so it was a really good low point lunch.
Well I went out to a buffett for dinner last night (yes, the dreaded buffet!), and then we had Baskin & Robbins praleins and cream ice cream cake for dessert!!!! I had to take the left over cake home, and I've been saying no to it ever since i got up this moringing!!!
