Catalyst on ABC ran a series about a month ago called Body Hits and there was an episode where this guy who pretty much lived on cheese and meat had heaps of really foul gas so he went off to see a dietition who put him on an anti-farting diet of fresh fruits and veg and before he started to improve for a few days he actually had more gas while his body adjusted to the new diet. So maybe your body just needs to get used to being treated right.

yep, I was a vegetarian for 2 years, even though being on fruit and vege made the farts odourless, they were still loud and unexpected.
Baked beans will always be a classical gas.
