Love chips???

Postby dietcoke » Thu Mar 08, 2007 3:11 pm

Did you know that

Doritos conatin 2160kj/100g - or 1080kj/50g pack,

While Smith's Toobs are only 1900/100g and 665kj/35g pack

I love anything salty (and anything containing chocolate too actually) but knowing that there are slightly better choices out there is excellent.

I found that info at http://www.food.com.au and it's an awesome website 'cause you can scroll down to different foods and find out all the nutritional information (provided you actually want to know).

I love salty snacks too.

I usually go for those cheese supreme snakatas (they're baked and made from corn and rice). They taste almost as good as Doritos :)
Cheers, Mary

If I could find a ticker for measurements it would say I'm on the way from a waist measurement of 134cm to one of 70cm (currently at 129cm)

I totally love Smith's Barbaque Chips - I could eat them from sun up to sun down - only problem is that I am allergic to the flavouring that they put on them and end up with blisters on my tongue (yet that doesn't stop me going back for more!?!?!?!?)
2008 - my year to be great!!

Oh yeah, when travelling from Ballarat to Geelong after work a couple of years ago, I would get one of those big bags and scoff it all down... Man I love not having to travel that distance anymore.

Must admit though, even though I love chips I don't feel the need for them as much anymore, we've got packets of those little chips in the cupboard and I haven't touched any of them.

I didn't realise how much I relied on chocolate to feel good until I took it out of the equation. I still get a bit grumpy and tantrum like when I really want chocolate and know I can't use it as a "feel good" mechanism anymore. I still have the occassional Curly Wurly but probably only one every 2 weeks now. And man I enjoy it.
