Dream outfit

Postby electrongirl » Tue Mar 13, 2007 10:07 am

I was looking through my skinny clothes the other day, thinking that soon (hopefully) I will be able to wear them again.

I have this gorgeous tweed skirt that I got from Myer a couple of years ago in a size 10. I fell in love with it the moment I saw it and had to have it. Because it was quite pricey, I couldn't justify getting it in a big size so I got the size 10 telling myself I would lose the weight to fit into it.

That skirt has been hanging in my wardrobe, tags still attached, since.

I cannot wait to team it with a choc brown knit top and my brown boots!!

Anyone else have an outfit they can't wait to get back into? Or something they have always wanted to wear?

Kate, you will make the most beautiful bride ever :D

I don't have a dream outfit. I would just like to fit into "mainstream" clothes. Something trendy would be nice, as long as I didn't look like mutton dressed as lamb

Judy :D

LOL @ judy "mutton dressed as lamb" i cant stand women that do that. thats like me going out wearing a boob tube and mini skirt- not nice for a 21 year old let alone anyone older. its tacky and disrespectful. i can imagine u have lovely taste in clothes judy but being a mum we rarely get the chance to buy nice things for ourselves *sigh*

I dont really have a dream outfit........... I just want to put something on, and know that my butt does NOT look big in that  and not have to pull it down cos Im popping out of it, or my crack is out of my pants! :P
I just want to be comfotable. I am a size 16 now, but a large 16. Because of my height and bone structure I will always be a 16, but I would like to be a smaller 16

I would love to wear all the flowy light summer dresses with thin straps that were all the rage this summer but with my lage breasts and wobbly tummy they made me look about 6 mths pregnant I tried on so many during the summer mths and none of them suited me- I guess you just have to work with your body shape!

A bit of a different one here, I'm a mad Geelong Cats supporter (AFL) and have always wanted to purchase a guernsey. In the past I have been turned off, because even the biggest size was too tight on me.

Now the season is about to start again it's time to purchase that guernsey and wear it with pride!
