Toilet stops

Postby aramat1980 » Thu Mar 15, 2007 12:31 pm

I know, not the best topic but I just wanted to say that when I'm at work, if I do need to go, instead of going to the nearest ones which would probably be no more than 10m away, I go to the ones furtherest away which is more like 100m away.

Just a suggestion for those who have a choice?!?!!!

I'd be walking about 2km a day then cos that's often I have to go to the loo with the amount of water I drink  So definitely a good way to get some extra steps into your day!
Just keep moving! And don't be lazy...

Yep, I started doing this last year, the good thing is we have some other ones downstairs, so it's a bit of an extra walk and some stairs included!

toilet stops

A guy at work wanted to lose a bit of weight so instead of driving out to the aircraft on the tarmac he walks out there.

It's about 200 metres each way and when you forget a tool it's a 400m round trip to the hangar to go get it.

When you then realise you need another tool, it's another walk etc etc etc.

You get the idea.

He lost 10 kilos in less than 2 months just by doing this.

The idea of walking to the furthermost toilet certainly has merit.

Like they say, it all adds up. Unfortunately that goes for calories as well as exercise. Doh!!
