Starting my second day...

Postby talia11 » Sun Mar 18, 2007 9:03 am

Well, Today is my second day on Lite N Easy, I never thought I would survive day 1, especially when my buff husband got Red rooster for dinner!! But surprisingly, the food was really nice (especially dinner) and very filling.... But what surprised me most was the portion sizes, which told me how WAY off I was when estimating sizes of meals......anyway, looking forward to seeing those KG drop off!!

isnt it funny to think that you can still be full with particular meals even though the portions are smaller than what you would usually have? have the time i dont think we actually sit there and think if we are full or not - we just eat til we feel sick from eating!! glad to hear you survived day 1!!

Thanks Kate, it is so surprising, and I wasn't even really that hungry! I am on a 1200 a day Calorie plan, and the lady wanted to put me onto a 1500, but the difference is only 1 snack a day, so i thought if i am hungry I will drink more water or eat some fruit, but I was fine!! mine you, I wasn't doing anything, so the test will be when i go to work on monday.... sitting at a desk all day will be hard not to graze...!!

perhaps just keep some chewing gum on your desk to chew on if you dont want your water. by keeping your tongue and teeth busy your mind will interpret it as eating :P

I've heard if you eat chewing before before you eat somthing the stomach actually thinks that it is eating....

Well done Talia. I loved the food on lite n easy and also found it filling. I too went on the 1200 plan which is what they put me on and I found I liked all the little bagged stuff as I could say, well this is my food today and that's it. It worked too!

LOL aren't the portion sizes amazing that's what really woke me up.

Good on you Talia. At least you will be learning your portion sizes at the same time as enjoying the food. Good luck with it all.
