Sore Ribs

My ribs are killing me if i so much as attempt to laugh they ache...
i only did 10 sit ups and 10 girly pushups... i dotn know why this is.. any ideas?

when was the last time you did sit ups and push ups?? maybe its muscular from starting a new exercise? dunno really
where is our trusty doctor ??

yeah i agree with jody- ti could be that you havent stretched those muscles in that particular way for awhile. sometimes i just wake up and feel sore around my ribs etc, which could do with the way i sleep.

when i first started doing sit ups i was like that, even sitting up from a laying down position hurt! it will pass in a few days :)

Try & put some hot packs on the sore ribs to get the blood warmed up flowing, I would go & see a doctor, when was the last time you did situp's you body is probly not use to the exercise you have probly pulled a muscle

Make sure you warm up before doing any sort of exercise. It's possible you have pulled a muscle or overworked it if you haven't done these exercises in a really long time. Build up slowly.

Mandie or one of our PT's may have more info.
