Wow - that would be great - no snacking on crap when you work at the local gym cafe!

Hope it works out for you.

Good luck and keep us posted.

What an exciting venture Talia. Do your homework, and all will be well.

My parents bought a business a while back (about 8 years I think). It's a steep learning curve to start with and I would encourage either you or your mum to do a crash accounting course if you haven't already. Also, talk with a lawyer before signing anything - if it is as part of an existing business partnership with the gym even more so because there'll be all kinds of existing agreements etc.

If you do make a go of it please please please don't sell chocolates - that's one thing that has always infuriated me about gym cafes!
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).

I shower at the Uni gym after my ride to Uni - they have a fridge full of soft drinks and 'sports' drinks and a freezer full of icecreams with chocolates on the counter!!!!!!!!!!!!

Crikey that is ridiculous. My gym doesn't have a cafe and only sells , sports drinks and protein products. Except one day when I got there some of the staff were having chips....boy did they smell good.
