How much do you need to eat to put on weight?

Postby Yorudan » Mon Apr 02, 2007 8:43 pm

I have been so good last week (lost 1.3kilograms) and just blew it by eating 1/2 a box of cereal that blow my calorie intake today to 2900. Is this enough food to undo all my goodwork?

thanks i feel quite sick. I've blown my calories by 230. I guess if i drop my cals for the 6 days to 1400 it will make up for it. Then there will onle be ac excess of a couple of hundred.

You should be fine if you do that Yorudan. Eat 'clean' and a little under your usual calories without starving yourself should balance it out.

Stuff yourself on steamed vegies for a week. Takes a while to get used to all the pooping but it's well worth it! I ate as much broccoli, cauliflower, & zuccini as I wanted in the first few weeks and it worked a treat (but I like vegies). Don't forget all your other needs though, like protein and calcium & all that.

Do you have sustagen there? It's a milk powder that has protein, iron and lots of other good stuff in it. It's good because it makes you feel quite full and is low in fat and tastes real good. I usually drink it if I need that chocolate taste hit

Just do more exercise and you'll feel better about yourself too. I ate half a bag of fruitchocs tonight and feel quite guilty, but that's ok cuz you can pump up the level of exercise.
