on tf they recommend that you take bio chromium and the fibre to add to your shakes- thats all they say that you need whilst on it due to all the nutrients in the shakes and soups.

personally i am taking cenovis womens once daily. it doesnt seem to be doing anything but my dr says to take it for at least 6 months to see a difference. i was also taking iron but have stopped taking it due to the effects

The only thing I am taking is Kelp tablets - to boost my iodine for my thyroid function
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).

I've got the Cenovis ones at the moment. They have a plastic coating with liquid/powder inside. Definitely go the capsules as opposed to solid tablets, it's just so hard for your body to break down the tablets and most of it will end up going down the toilet lol. Ladybird also has mutivitamin capsules as well :)

Hi Gea - i 'loosely" follow TF .... i take their multivitamin and their chromium one .... i do find chromium does help with my sugar cravings (im a huge sweet tooth normally) but some people do have an adverse reaction to it .... my dad broke out in a rash etc when he took a chromium supplement.

I've tried a couple of different multivitamins but never found much difference being on them to being off them - heard good things about Centrum though.

Good Luck

I have been taking the cenovis womens once daily for about 9 months now, on my drs advice. I now notice the difference if I have run out and haven't had any for a week or so.

I don't actually take a multivitamin. But I do use spirulina, which I highly recommend. I have been taking this since January and it gives you so much energy.

Spirulina is fantastic!! It's the richest natural source of protein in the world and has 3 serves of veggies in every 3000mg serve!! I definitely notice the difference if I stop taking it and it helps my bloated tummy too!

I take Swisse Woman's Ultivite - it is one that they recommend on TF if you don't want to take theirs!

Yeah you can get spirulina from your local Health Food store. It's great stuff! I ran out about 2 weeks ago and haven't bought anymore yet, I feel like crap!

Note to self - first thing tomorrow off shopping.

I take a pre-conceprtion multi vitamin with folate because we are TTC.

My Dr. said it's just a good multi so I don't need another.

I do feel like I could use some more energy and have heard of spirullna good to hear you guys like it. Does it have any side effects.
