Not 100% sure on this one...others might be able to correct me...

A nip of spirit (what ever your fancy) with a diet mixer.

Will have to google that one...

I have just finished reading Ajay Rochester book for the umpteenth time and she was a heavy drinker, what she does now is when she goes out, she has a vodka and soda with some lime or lemon...then she would have say one or two vodka and sodas and the rest of the night she would just have soda.....that way no one knew she wasn't drinking alcohol, and there was less pressure.......

I agree. They say a clear spirit with lime/lemon and soda or diet soft drinks. If I'm being good I have vodka and diet coke. Well not ENTIRELY good but close enough...and still fun.

The girls have offered some good suggestions already here. Try spacing your drinks with water or a diet soft drink so that you drink half as much alcohol as usual.

Clear spirits, like vodka and gin are good.

If you want to recreate the taste of a cruiser, try vodka with lime and diet soda... that's pretty tasty.
