I don't know in what order everybody else exercises and eats, but i thought I would just mention my routine.

I get home from work around 4ish, I spend an hour unwinding, relaxing or whatever, have a piece of fuit, I go to the gym about 5 and then when I am finished working out I come home and have dinner straight away. The reason I do this is because I find exercise supresses my appetite and i saw on a diet tv show that you should eat within 45 min of working out, that way your heart rate is up, metabolism is working faster and you will burn more calories if you eat straight after exercising, and not feeling so hungry when i get home i tend not to eat a large serving. Once I waited for dinner until nearly two hours after exercising and I found I was absolutely starving and my meal did not satisfy me.
