Hello - I'm new to all of this

Postby juliejag » Tue Jun 07, 2005 11:01 pm

Hi everyone,
Can anyone tell me PLEASE which diet really works? I am 41 (still can't believe that!) and weigh 121kgs! I have never ever been this big in my life and I hate it! I'm am so scared that I am not going to be around for my 12 year old son. I need help or talk to someone who can help me! I've tried everything and I either lose motivation or it just doesnt suit my lifestyle.
I hope to hear from someone who can help.
Thanks

Lots of diets work but you have to find one that feels right to you. I've tried counting calories and wieght watchers points and had some success but I think if you try to eat good wholesome foods and avoid the highly processed stuff like sugar and white bread and takeaways you should get the results you want without all the complicated counting and feel really good because you're nourishing your body properly. I guess like everyone else says, consistency is the key. Exercise is also a must. I think I need to listen to own advice more often.
