Hi Fi,

I am a I'm lacto-ovo vegetarian as well and have recently lost 19kg. I have been a vegetarian for 13 years, but was eating the wrong foods (too much white rice/pasta/bread/chocolate!!). It has taken 9 months to loose the weight, I find eating lots of fruit and vegies throughout the day (never starve yourself, make sure you eat every few hours) is the best way to loose weight, plus things like lentils, beans, eggs, cottage cheese for protien and iron works well. I go for a 30 minute walk as soon as I wake up every morning, which sets me up for the rest of the day, plus do strenght training twice a week. There are lots of great vegetrian recipes on the net, here are some good ones:
