I'm sorry, but I disagree with some of the stuff you have stated. It's just not that simple.
The old statement of If energy input is less than energy output, You will lose weight, is not that simple. It's proven many a time that by eating less calories than you use, you can put on weight, cause your body goes into starvation mode. I myself have eaten a balanced diet whilst exercising (a large majority of my job is working for 10 - 12 hours a day), and lost very minimal i.e. 1-2 kgs over several months.
Whilst a mate of mine can sit down to three large pizzas plus $3 - 4 of chips for dinner and eat like a horse for the rest of the day. His job is sitting in front of a computer, and when he finishes he goes home to his x-box. He weighs all of 68kgs.
So, there simply must be more to it!!!
