Any body watch that Adrenalin Junkie with Jack Osbourne... Where he needs to lose weight so he can go rock climbing and he does all this exotic stuff to get there???

There's one part where he starts a detox program and gets like daily enema's... Anyone know what the go is with that???

Might have been colon irrigation. They circulate water through your bowels/colon for half a day to get rid of the poo buildup on your insides. Someone on here went for one not long ago.
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
Back to the drawing board - Let's do this thing!

I never saw it. Teagan's right ( butterfly_dawn) An enema is the procedure of introducing liquids into the rectum and colon via the anus.

Sure have... says she as she reaches for the phone to make another appointment... I think it's required :(

There is a difference between an enema and an irrigation though, it's not the same thing. I think an enema used pressurised water, and it doesn't reach the entire colon.

enema: liquid injected or to be injected into the rectum; antegrade colonic enema - creation of a continent stoma in the right colon through which an irrigation fluid may be infused, used in the managemnt of chronic evacuation disorders, called also colonic antegrade irrigation
colonic: 1. pertaining to the colon; 2. colon hydrotherapy
irrigation: 1. washing by a stream of water or other fluid; (see also lavage); 2. a liquid used for such washing .... antegrade colonic irrigation - see under enema

(from Dorlands medical dictionary)

now I will go and look for a book I have somewhere, aptly named the poo in you......

It's not too bad, just cramps sometimes. But I get a nice hot water bottle for my tummy which helps a little bit... still a bit stressful at times. It is worth it afterwards though :)

I wrote a bit more in here..

Sounds really Good... In a disturbing way. I was thinking about doing it the Jack Osbourne Style and do a detox plan and the irrigation thingy at the same time...
