A friend of mine told me that a good way to get you back on the band is to have a KEY ITEM in your wardrobe that you really want to wear but obviously doesnt look "right" with respect to your current weight...

So anyway, I was having a really bad sugar craving today... What I would do for some chocolate! :oops: So I decided that I was going to get some. Went to my room to change and whilst looking for my clothes, I stumbled across a swimsuit that i spent an absolute fortune on, but currently wouldn't be caught dead wearing it in public.

I tried it on. It was an instant reminder why I'm going through with this in the first place. Summer is coming and I would love to put on that swimsuit again, and if i broke my diet, then theres a smaller chance that thats going to happen.

Needless to say, I had no chocolate.

I have a gorgeous pair of jeans and a red and black dress to wear over them.....both size 16 and too small....I might hang them on my door or something so they are in clear view :) Thanks for the tip! :D

yes it is a really good idea.
I have a pair of "skinny pants" that i want so bad to fit me.
It is a every day reminder about what my goal is. Everybody should have at least something that gives them a reminder about what their goals are.
It really works. Just think of your skinny pants when you are thinking about eating that chocolate cake and you will probally not eat it. :wink:
