I'm proud of me!!

I just have to say that I'm proud of me! Wednesdays I work till 6:30-7ish and thats a long time since lunch!! If I have to get petrol after work, I usually buy a choccie bar too and eat it on the way home. I took a snack to work but didn't eat it and by the end of the day I was starving and craving that choccie!! But I didn't buy it! I ate my snack that I didn't eat during the day which consisted of cucumber, carrot sticks and a piece of cheese. After a few mouthfuls, I realised I didn't even feel like the choccie anymore!!! Wow. If only I knew that trick years ago....lol

woohooo good job... :) much healthier than the choccie and probably tided you over better than a chocolate bar would have anyway!

I too had a proud moment today. I was really thirsty but had already finished my bottle of water and I was walking to central station and so I decided to treat myself to a diet coke.

So I walked into maccas (i love drinks that come with ice and straws, hehe) and I bought my diet coke and wasnt even tempted to get anything else! I was so proud of myself. I didnt even want to get anything.

Yay for us! And yay to the power of saying no! :D

Well done Ali! We can do it!!!

Last night I was craving everything!!! Chocolate, muffins, cake, bread, anything with carbs in it!!!! It was so hard but I got through it and just thought of myself fitting into all my good clothes in my wardrobe that don't fit me!!

I didn't eat anything I was not supposed to. Had a great dinner and then a diet jelly and that was it!!

It gets easier every day. I find that I'm happy when I make the right food choices and one day I can have that choccie in moderation, just not right now.
