why me ?

Postby JL77 » Mon Sep 17, 2007 5:39 pm

I have been doing fantastic and have kept such a positive outlook on this diet thing.

I been doing it for 3 weeks now and have lost 3 kilos but this weekend I went out and drank alot lol and ate alot of bad food and I jumped on the scales and I have put it all back on.

IN ONE WEEKEND, I CANT BELIEVE IT

Oh...HUGS!!! :D

Come on...... jump back on that diet and do the exercise, we are all human and make slip ups. Just learn from it. What will you do differently next time? We just need to reflect and make sure that we don't make the same mistakes.

These are the questions I ask myself after I have done a similar thing........
1. Am I depriving myself too much on my diet?
2. What will I do differently next time?
3. Why did I cease my diet? Is it related to emotions? What will I do differently next time?
4. Am I proud of myself? YES.... cause I will try again and armed with 'new' knowledge....I will beat the battle of the bulge!

I read somewhere and I do NOT know if it's true but the weight gain could be to do with fluid...... SOMEONE will post soon and be able to explain why you put it all back on. I don't think it's possible but I really do NOT KNOW....sorry!

Have a great day....... chin up, I know you will be a successful slimmer

Looking forward to reading your success story! :D

Dont be so disheartened, I often find that after a big eating session the next day I will still be full and heavy from all the food. Maybe weigh yourself in a couple of days and see what the scales say, im sure you havent put 3kgs on in one weekend!

Just stick to is and Im sure the scales will go down soon enough. Dont give up! :D

hun don't be disheartened I highly doubt you put 3kgs of fat on over the weekend. For you to put 1 kg of fat on you have to consume 3500 more cals than your bod needs and for you to have put on 3kgs bod fat that means your weekend you would have had to consume a whooping 10500 cals more.

Chin up, drink plenty of water to help flush out your body and fluid build up.

Do some exercise to get the happy juices flowing.

Tomorrow is a new day. All is not lost :D

I'd say its your body holding onto salts!

If you ate crappy - chances are it was high in sodium too!

Get onto the water and flush your system!

trust me! I have had binges that have lasted a week and only gained a kilo or so.

There's no way you've gained 3kg!! like all the others have said, its your body freaking out from the unhealthy stuff in it and its storing water.

So flush it out!!! Get back on the healthy wagon and kick your body back into shape!!

I know I shouldnt look if its not in the morning but i just weighed and was 86.5, so thats about half a kilo to a kilo I put on. I can live with that.
Back on the wagon today, upset though that I cant go to netball, I have a tummy bug I think and the last thing I feel like doing is running around on the court
