CSIRO, but you were close!

Apparently its the best diet out there according to a few surveys and studies I have read, Weight watchers came second.

I have never done it but I have heard good things about it.

Hi!
I'm on the CSIRO, I'm actually a guinea pig for their latest study. Been on it 6 weeks, dropped 6kgs and I'm finidng it easy to follow and satisfying!
The trick to keeping it cheap is to follow the guidelines but not the menu plans as they can get costly. But if you follow the numbers of portions of types of food each day but tailor the food itself to suit your taste and budget (which is easy to do) then its fantastic.

Cool!
If you have any questions, feel free to ask me here or via PM, I have been going to fortnightly seminars with dietitians from the CSIRO, and I'm also on a private message board with them (so we can ask anything we need to) and it takes alot of the confusion out of it!

I have a friend at uni who has been on the CSIRO diet for a little while now and ahe has already lost 9kgs, She said it was pretty easy to follow and that. I was thinking about buying the book but wasn't sure if it was worth it or not, now i think i just might.
