I'm excited. When I started my BMI was 29 and now it is 26, I am only 1 point away now from the "acceptable" weight range, and out of the "overweight" range.

That's truly awesome Linda, the BMI (Body Mass Index) graphs I look at all calculate me to still be in the obese section,
but I'm working on it :D

I'm a bit of a sceptic when it comes to the BMI. I guess it's a good guide, but I bet every olympic weight lifter, wrestler, boxer etc would be in the obese range, but you couldn't call them fat (if you did they'd beat you to a pulp :shock: )

Maybe I just don't like being classified.
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).

Yes BMI is not exactly correct but it is a great thing to have a look at. Mine is 27.73.....ooopppssss!!!! I really think the best way to measure whether you are overweight is how your clothes feel. I have a pair of 3/4 pants that I bought last summer and loved and wore them when I went out etc and I can do them up but they are uncomfortable this year. So once they are comfortable again then I will be able to say that I have lost weight. I don't particularly like scales and wasn't one for weighing myself very often until this challenge and not seeing it budge is very depressing! And when I hopped on on tuesday just to see if maybe I had lost some weight since monday......doh!!! said 70.5. So I tested it again this morning and hey presto we are back at 71!!! So I will go back to only doing it Monday mornings I think! Tho a Friday would be better cos I tend to be much better behaved during the week because my partner isn't here!!!
