I was stick thin as a kid, used to weigh only 55kg and I'm 172cm tall! Then I found out i had a heart condition that basically doubled my already fast metabolism. I had surgery when I was 16, then just started stacking the weight on after that.
I also did some truck driving when I was 25, and sitting on my arse for 12 months in a truck definately didn't help either!
Don't get me wrong, I don't consider myself to be hugely overweight now. I've lost the few kilos I put on while I was driving, but now I just want to tone up and look good for my wedding - 11 March 06 (50 days and counting!) I've now got the motivation to get fit cause I want look good on the day. I now weigh 75kg, which for my height is classed as overweight. Plus my tummy isn't really looking the best either.
As far as I'm concerned, if someone wants to lose some weight, good on them. As long as they do it safely, cause you can do serious damage to your body otherwise.
We can't all be size 6, stick thin supermodels! (Like my sister - lucky censored!!)
Take it easy guys & girls!!
