Does the Ultra lite program really work??

Postby Hayley » Mon Jan 23, 2006 3:55 pm

Hi everyone,

I noticed on 'our' home page, that there is an article about the Ultralite weightloss program, so I decided to visit their site and have a look.

Well, it looks great and the success stories are wonderful. I would like to hear from anyone who has actually tried it before or anyone who knows anyone who has.

Apparently it is run through naturopaths and the nearest one to me is three and a half hours drive, which means I'd have to do it via email or phone. I have already spoken to their consultant and participating via correspondence is not a problem.

I am quite excited but would like to hear from others first, before making the decision to join or not. I am also waiting to find out the cost of the program.

I'd really appreciate it if any of you guys can share anything about this program.

Cheers, Hayley.

I am still waiting for them to get back to me with more information about the program and obviously the cost.

Anyone tried it or know of someone who has?

Cheers.

Hi Hayley,

I haven't tried it either but have heard that it is hard to stick to and costly (because of supplements). Apparently they tell you how to eat i.e. .you need to follow it to the letter and continue until you reach your goal weight and then they ease you back into 'normal' eating. They recommend you do the program at least twice a year to maintain your weight loss.

Sorry I can't be of more help. Would love to hear what you find out,
Angel

Finally had a reply about the program - $385 for the 5 week program (includes supplements, flax seed iol, apple cider vinegar, file about program, urine test strips) or $675 for 10 week.

Expensive but would definitely consider it if I heard from others who said it was good. Does anyone know any other weightloss forums (free, not diet club website) where I may be able to find someone who has tried it?

Cheers.
