Feeling unfit???

Been going to the gym and doing lots of classes ( attack, cycle and pump). Yesterday I decided to go for a run up a big hill that I used to do alot before I joined the gym. Haven't done it for about a year. Anyway I was stuffed, picture someone about to have a coronary :lol:
Why would this happen and am I not as fit as I think I am?? any ideas?? dumb founded!! :shock:

There are different types of fitness ... and typical gym classes don't require anywhere near the same intensity as running up a big hill. You're using different muscles, different oxygen requirements etc. So while you're very fit in other areas and can do the repetitive cardio and weight training exercise, you've just lost some of your ability to run up big hills. I'm sure if you start adding the hill into your regular training program you'll be smashing again it in no time Bear :)
Just keep moving! And don't be lazy...
