Just wanting to know what the symbols on the side mean- I am talking about the round symbol with the lines in it, i get that when its red there is a new post but what does it mean when those lines are scrolling down. Also, what is the difference between the round ones and the ones that look like lightbulbs?
Cant seem to find information anywhere that explains this.

it's pretty universal...
lightbulbs are stickey
lines are threads
scrolling lines are threads with heaps of replys
then red versions of them are ones with new posts since u last visited
