Hi Nikki.

First of all you'll need to take a photo, then hook your digital camera up to your computer (you have a cord from when you bought the camera). Then go to "My Computer" and go down to the digital camera picture and double click. Find the photo your looking for and right click and copy. Then go to your desktop and right click and paste.

Go to Imageshack and click Browse. Then find your photo go to your desktop because it'll be on there. click OK then click on the "Host It" button which is near the bottom.

Once its been uploaded go down to the bottom one which says "Direct link to image" copy that one (hightlight the whole thing right click and go copy.). Then make a new topic in the forum. (just click here.)

Then make image tags like this:

Code: Select all
[img]*Image URL goes here*[/img]

Paste the url of the image between the two tags and all shall be well.

If you have anymore questions just ask. :)

Ok then.

Click this link. -> ImageShack. That will take you to the proper website.

Click Browse:

Image

Find your picture, click on it and then click on Open.

Image

Click on Host It.

Image

The Image will then Upload to the internet, may take a while depending on your Internet connection. Just be patient. ;)

Click this link to make a new topic, in the correct forum. (I've done it all for you). Click Here.

Put the title (In the "Subject" line) as Nikki's Before and After Pics, or choose your own.

Then make Image Tags. Like this:

Image

By now your Image should be Uploaded. So go back to the ImageShack page. And find the "Direct Link To Image" one.

Image

Hightlight the whole thing in the box and then right click and go copy.

Then go back to the topic you are making. And paste that between the Image Tags you just created. Make sure there are no spaces anywhere.

Image

Then click preview to make sure it worked properly. When it has click Submit!

I tried to upload my picture but it wasn't working :(

Is there an easier way to upload pictures onto post?

Could the host of this forum possibly add at the bottom of the page an upload image option, instead of having to go through the whole complicated process of going to other websites uploading etc?

It would be great if that was possible

I use photobucket. It is a lot easier process I find. http://www.photobucket.com you just upload your picture there and then click on the image button (it copies it for you) and then you paste it straight into your post....really easy and not complicated at all....hope this is a help to you
