keep your face to the sunshine and you cannot see the shadow

the harder it is to get to the better it is when you get there

if you take a flower in your hand and really look at it, its your world for the moment

live each day as if its your last and learn from each day as though its your first

dont be dismayed at goodbye. a farewell is necessary before you can meet again. and meeting again after moments or lifetimes is certain for those who are friends

travelling? never forget to plan your travel and travel your plan

a friend is someone who knows all about you and still loves you

I found this great one yesterday and love it:

"Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, "Wow, what a Ride!"
In a world full of people only some want to fly...

When I was having some counselling one of the first things the lady did was write a sign for my to stick on my fridge

What other people think of me
Is non of my business

How true is that but very hard to live with because we do care what people think about us and we let it affect us

It is not about starting or finishing something. It is about living in the moment for tomorrow may never come.

I just read the above in a blog and its true isn't I don't relate this to my weight problem more to life itself I dwell on things and have done for a long time that I have no control over, making myself miserable and my partner I am going to try and learn from that little quote

Love the quotes!
Here are a few that I have hanging around my computer:

"Forget past mistakes, forget failures, forget everything except what you are going to do right now, and just do it."

"The difference between the impossible and the possible, lies in a persons determination."

"Take the first step in faith, you don't have to see the whole staircase, just the first step."

"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain."

"Dripping water can eat through stone."

And my favourite:
"Do the one thing you think you cannot do. Fail at it. Try again. Do better the second time. The only people who never tumble, are those who never mount the high wire. This is your moment, own it."
