Hi everyone,

Just wondering what you average weekly weight loss is? And also, what's the biggest loss you have recorded in a week?

i think my biggest loss ever in a week was 4.1kg - that was my first week and thats mainly fluid that everyone loses in the first week.

women are advised to lose between 0.5-1kg a week - for men it is more than that.

some weeks you might gain and some you might lose. if weightloss was easy then we wouldnt be here LOL

That is huge!

I think I'm only ever lucky to lose about 1 kg. By biggest has probably been 1.2 kg!

presently.. nothing. *sigh*

but previously, best lost was about 3kg when I started - again, I think that's just fluid and a shock to the system when I stopped eating so much junk!

when I lost most of my weight steadily, I shed about 30kg in about 9 months, so thats around a kilo a week? but i had big weeks and little weeks and little gains in there too.. its a funny business, this weight loss thing!

dont forget to take measurements and check those monthly or so, they can reallly show the difference!

my biggest this time round is 2 kg,though i usually lose nil to a kilo a week, though teh week after Patrick was born i lost a whopping 10kg in hospital!

Nothing. If I'm lucky 1kg at most.

The harder i work out the less weight I lose and the bigger my legs and bum get...hehehe. But don't worry it's a good thing.

Biggest loss have been around 1.3kg when I started. On average, around 300gm per week :? Oh well, slow and steady, right?

My biggest loss was 2.3kgs in a week, but on average it's 0.5 to 1kg a week. I find though that with the bigger losses they are generally followed by no loss or a small loss the next week. Probably water like the others have said.

I had the same. In my first few weeks I lost and gained over 8kg!!! :roll: When I was rolling on my 35kg loss, I was averaging about 1kg a week give or take. I've come to a standstill over the past year but it's moving again and I expect a 1kg loss per week if I'm going to lose anything.
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).

Mine jumps around a lot. Last week was +0.2, the week before -0.5, the week before that -3.0kg!!! I think that was my biggest ever...

The most loss in a week is 2-3Kg once was over 4 - 5 like kate that was once when I detoxed. But now looking at .5Kg to 1KG loss a week if there isnt no change or a gain.

I have been trying for half a kg a week sometimes it works and sometimes I loose more, apparently half a kg is the amount that is
safe for me to loose weekly. Sometimes especially around TTOM LOL I don't loose anything ! So its pretty hard to make an average for myself. As long as I'm loosing or maintaining I'm happy, though I don't want to loose alot at once just in case I'm loosing muscle tone. I hope that makes sense :)

i think probably 2 or 3kg would have been the biggest weightloss i've had in a week but in saying that, 2 weeks after i had my daughter i was 12kg lighter :D . I usually lose 0.3- 1.5kg a week depending on how many calories i eat a day and exercise done.
