Sore Skin

Postby SarahC » Mon Nov 26, 2007 3:14 pm

I'm asking a lot of questions today

Anyway, I find that when I really go overboard on sugars and carbs (usually at my parents' place, cos that's where they all are lol), I really swell up, I guess it's fluid retention from the carbs. Anyway, I swell up so badly that my skin starts to hurt. You can't even touch me without it hurting. And going for a run.. forget it!

Does that sound normal??? Am I the only one who gets this

Skin swelling so much it hurts? I have not heard of that. You sure you're not having an allergic reaction to something?

Never thought of that... maybe I'm allergic to cake lol. Maybe I should add that to the list of things to ask the doctor next time :?

i have heard of people having sore skin if they swell up a lot, and i have in the past when i've been very bloated been a bit tender, think it's something to do with the fact that you are stratching your skin, and yeah you are right about the fluid retention part

hope that all makes sense....feeling a bit tired so i think i'm rambling a bit
