Hi :)

1 Calorie = 4.18kJ

So, to convert cals to kJ, multiply by 4.18
And to convert kJ to cals, divide by 4.18

Trivia: one calorie is the amount of energy it takes to raise the temperature of one kg of water by one degree  (from memory, anyone feel free to correct me!)
