Glutten free

Postby ali76 » Fri Feb 15, 2008 11:37 am

Hi all!

I have a good friend of mine visiting me from Sydney in a few weeks and she is glutten intolerant.

Any suggestions of things I could buy for us to eat / cook, etc?

Thanks!

There are lots of gluten free products available would suggest checking out the health food section in the supermarket for ideas.

Fresh stuff - fruit & veg, solid meat, fish, rice, dairy are generally all ok. Things likely to contain gluten are processed eg mince meat, sauces, bakery products, anything with wheat. If you check on your supermarket shelf many types of products do have some gluten free in the selection. It is written on the label if it is gluten free. There are also lots of recipes avaiable on the internet.
