how much should i be weighing?

i am 18 years old and about 178 cm and weigh about 77 Kg.
some people are saying that im still fat and need to lose until 68 Kg.. do you think so too :?:

Your BMI at the moment is 24 which is in the healthy range. Are you happy with the way you look?

178cm is tall! 63 - 79 kilos seems to be the consensus on your healthy weight range. You are fine.

I know how you feel....when I was your age I was slap in the middle of my healthy weight range, but always felt fat because my friends (who were like all 10 cms shorter) all wore size 8 - 10 and I wore size 12! They could borrow my clothes, but I was too big to borrow theirs! I could never believe it when doctors told me I was in my healthy weight range.

These days I concentrate more on doing what is healthy and keeping fit. :D

you probably don't need to lose weight but maybe doing some toning exercise to tighten things up? Dont worry what others say, how do YOU feel about yourself?

Your not overweight for your height so your not unhealthy.

Your BMI is 24 and the healthy weight range is 20 to 25, so if it would make you feel better, it wouldn't hurt to lose a few kg. It all depends on bone structure and so forth. :roll: There is an old thing about measuring your wrist to determine bone structure - I don't remember it but a web search should find it easily.

BUT if you do decide to lose a little, do it the smart way - lower your simple (useless) carbohydrate intake and boost your lean protein intake to more than 30%. It works wonders. :lol:

There's some stuff about wrist & elbow measuring here

Frankly I think it's all bollox created by scientists whose only way of explaining the world is to put everything into tidy labelled boxes.
According to this I have a medium frame based on elbow, but a full 2" larger than large in wrist. People come in ALL different configurations.

I think the only way to tell if you are at the right weight is how you feel about it
