does anybody have suggestions on how to eat healthy on the go? I am constantly in and out of meetings and i eat out lot as time is limited to cook. Can anyone suggest fast meals that can be made that are filled with nutrients?

I have one suggestion, I use it for my 2 toddlers to get them to have something healthy.
Fritters - you can put almost anything in them and they freeze well.

1 cup self raising flour
200grms creamed corn
Grate zuccini / cheese toss in some ham
Add two eggs
Season to taste

It should be slightly thicker than pancake mix, you can even bake them if you don't want to fry and flip.
It's a very quick meal and easy to reheat on the run.
Good luck

I always carry Le Snacks and boxes of sultanas in my handbag at work - running around between patients, in the lifts (I mean stairwells... ) anywher,e you can grab a quick healthy snack!

Also fruit - apples etc - a quick easy sandwich.. quick easy stirfries at home - you can buy pre-chopped frozen vegies, just throw in meat, vegies, sauce, noodles or throw on rice - done.. 5 min meal! healthy choice/weight watchers etc frozen meals are good too.. canned soups..

You just need to be super organised!

Lots of fruit and veggies....carrot, cucumber, celery sticks, cherry tomatoes. Apples, bananas, museli bars. As for meals, get lean cuisine's for the freezer, or lite and easy, etc. Or cook on the weekend and make extras for the freezer - I do vegetable slices and pasta sauces with HEAPS of veggies.

Up and go shakes, yoghurt, dried fruit.....Where there's a will there's ALWAYS a way!

Not really a meal but a good pick me up is a protein bar like Pria or Slim secrets.

I agree Shalimar...those slim secret protein bars are great! I can normally only get through half at a time and then I'm full for ages!

If you have any time of the day that you actually cook (say dinner), you can make a little extra and then zap in the microwave the next day (this is usually my lunch).

Maybe try cooking a chicken breast fillet (or half) and meanwhile chop up some salad stuff, grab a wrap (like a mountain bread or something), slice up the cooked chook, add to the salad, maybe with a little sweet chilli sauce or something, and eat and run?
