How long??

Hi everyone,

Im just wondering how long it will take before all my hard work in the gym will show up on the scales, I know that im gaining muscle and all that but got a bit of a shock when I weighed this morning to see id put on 2.9kg and not lost anything when ive been working my butt off. Any thoughts would be appreciated. :(

A lot of it could be fluid. Have you had a lot of sodium lately? Keep your salt intake down, up your water and see how it goes.

Keep at it! I put on 10kg in the first couple of weeks! Still don't know why, but knowing my body it was staging a protest. I soon showed it who was boss though :wink: Even if the scales aren't moving, you're still going to be healthier.
35kg lost. (November 2005 - October 2006)
15kg gained again (as at October 2010).
