Why do I lose weight one week and put it back on the next?

Hi hi!

So heres my life story: each time i get all happy and excited about dropping some weight, i weigh in the following week and i'm back at my original weight! Its driving me insane! I'm eating right and exercising, why wont the fat let go :(
Had my baby girl Leah on 13/12/10!

Weight at 40 weeks: 81.5kg
SW 4 days post-baby: 74.4kg
CW: 67kg

1st mini goal: 72kg - DONE!
2nd mini goal: 70kg - DONE!
3rd mini goal: 67kg - DONE!

4th mini goal: 64kg

hi shay! well i cant answer this but gee i'd also love to know what its a bout as i suffer too!! my body seems to want to stay 78kgs forever. ' not happy jan!!' :lol:

Its pretty annoying, isnt it! I took one long look at my belly today and said: "if you dont start to let go and move on, you wont like what i'll do to you next!" But then i realised there wasn't much i could do except maybe make it endure some violence like a good punch, which would only really hurt me :lol:

Could be a number of things. First of all, you girls can retain more water depending on where you are in your reproductive cycle.

My best idea tho is, if you've started exercising from doing little to no exercise, you're probably gaining a bit of muscle mass which could be offsetting fat losses. This sort of thing is only temporary, so stick with it.

This depends on how you vary your diet. Try to mix it up a lot (ie one day lots of protein, on day lots of vegies, one day fish etc) stay off the fruit and bread and cheese.
Are you drinking lots of water (min 2lts per day) .
