Protein for Breakfast

Hi guys,

I need some help!!

My Challenge trainer wrote some feedback on last weeks food diary and asked me to get some more protein in the mornings... Has anyone got some good suggestions for what I can have for breakky that is high in protein? I'm usually having three weetbix with one banana chopped up on top with skim milk...

Eggs! Egg whites if you want to keep the fat down.

I agree egg whites, 97% lean bacon or ham, sardines!!

Jalna yoghurt (which is great in the protein stakes!) with 10 or so crushed almonds sprinkled in!!

Those are my stead fast protein breaky favs.

Hey Chericola,

I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I have recently started having a Admin Censored shake for breakfast. It gives me 19grams of protein for just 140 calories. I was actually really surprised that is does actually keep my full till lunchtime and it gives me a good energy boost (which I love).

Otherwise, yeah - agree with the others eggs (or just egg whites) is probaby the best for of protein. Actually, Egg protein is such high quality that it’s considered the ‘gold standard’ protein against which all other proteins are judged.... fun little fact for you.

If you want some info on the herby shakes - look up herby girls Admin Censored on facebook. The chick that runs that page is really nice (& not pushy like some of them can be)....

Or dairy - yoghurt with some fruit?

Low fat meats - ham, bacon, etc.....or - a protein bar!?
SW - 75.9
CW - 68
Happy weight - 68 (I MADE IT!!!)
GW - 65 (for now - and until I conceive!)
