Pole Dancing?

Postby tiddliewinkz » Sat May 22, 2010 11:41 pm

I was just wondering if anyone has done pole dancing before? I've joined up for a 6 week course, have done 1 week and absolutely loved it - I've gone to casual classes throughout the week as well.... I was just wondering if anyone has tried it and how much (if any) weight they lost?

1st goal... 65kg by the end of June 2010
2nd goal... 60kg by the end of August 2010
3rd goal... 55kg by the end of October 2010
Final goal... maintain it FOR EVER!!!

I have done Pole dancing once and loved it i would love to take it up again but I can no longer continue due to health issues.
I have not heard of it helping to loose the weight but I feel it is a good thing to do while loosing weight because it does do,
as has already been said but not in the same words, pole dancing helps to tone those muscles, more muscles then one realizes
one actually has, this is clear the first two mornings after the first time Pole Dancing when one hurts in places they did not
know existed :P
My Surgeons weight loss goal for me...

I so want to give it a go.

I know that She Moves in Perth does casual classes before signing up for a 6 week beginner course.

Anyone in Perth possibly interested in giving it a go with me? I've asked some of my girlfriends but they are all a little shy. :D
