What's your best trick for hips, butt & thighs?

I've tried all the conventional gym tactics from lunges to running, but can not seem to shrink this area?

Has anyone found anything a little different that just might work!?

spot weight loss doesn't work, however pilates i believe have specific regimes for TONING those areas.

Thanks for the advice! I'll add a few classes into my schedule :)
it just gets frustring that even after loosing around 20kg - very little size has come off my legs :(

Running up hills and stairs toned my problem areas. When I was losing weight I was lucky enough to live in a area where there were lots of hills and the beach was a 10 minute jog away where there were lots of stairs.
Now I live in a area that's flat so I use my treadmill on a incline.
