Including optifast bars in diet?

Postby laughing_sheep » Fri Nov 05, 2010 9:20 am

I've had a bad past few days and I'm considering substituting a couple of meals today with optifast bars. I"m not sure if maybe I'm just setting myself up for more binging by doing this. Has anyone else found it ok to sometimes use these meals substitutes when in a rush or as a way to make up for extra eating?

Hi there,
DON"T DO IT!!!!!!!!!
These bars and shakes are bad news I recon.
I've just lost over 10.5kgs in a little over 12 weeks with not a bar or shake in sight.
The trouble with these meal replacements is that they do not teach you how to eat properly. My mum goes on them all the time. She loses weight, heaps of it in fact, but then she stops and puts its all back on. That just cannot be good for you.

Good luck with it.
