Introducing myself, in need of advice!

Postby zak138 » Tue Mar 01, 2011 1:39 am

Hey everyone, I'm Zak!

Just a little bit about myself first off:

Weight: 72kg (plus the 2kg I took off to feel good) = 74kg
Height: 169cm
Age: 17
BMI: 25.9

I even decided to spoil you guys by posting a picture of my delicious body, which I am not too happy with at the moment!
Image

So, I am wanting to get rid of that fat on the top of my body and have a nice toned body. I have tried numerous times before to stick to a routine but crashed and burned in a stylistic fashion ( I was wearing my finest shirt at time, hence stylistic  )

I am really active, I do about an hour of day of medium intensity basketball each day at school and after over the past couple years and that has slowly dropped off the weight but some of that would have to be due to growing but the weight loss stopped around last October and I have been stuck with my delicious body I got right now.

The park just down the road has a half court basketball court and the length of the park itself is around 125m, slightly inclined. I also have a bench press at home.

So, what I was thinking fellow fat fighters - was to do, maybe 45 minutes of high intensity running of slow-sprint type of running, I heard this was good? Clarify? :)

To keep myself motivated, I am going to be posting myself up each week with results and stuff and I was hoping you guys would keep me focussed, in return, I will show you pictures of my toned body - deal?

Hahaha, but what I need from you guys is just some advice on how I should tackle my exercise to get the best results I can from my time - My mum has suggested swimming but the closest complex/beach is over 20 minutes away and I get my license in May, so swimming is not really an option.

Any opinions or advice would be greatly apperciated guys, speak soon!

I am going to get some cake.

I'm too long in the tooth to be worrying about a toned body but go for your life Zak mate, you are young and have your whole life in front of you, I'm sure the hard work you put in will be well rewarded..

Thanks man, I started running as of Monday :)

45 minute interval running with 30 minutes of basketball, it's great in the morning! It's getting colder, I love it.
